The Windham Weaponry Varmint 5.56 NATO rifle is purpose built for precision shooting and varmint hunting. The 20″ 416R stainless steel barrel is fluted to reduce weight and increase surface area for cooling while maintaining the rigidity needed for long range shooting. The muzzle is threaded and comes with a thread protector. Rifled with a 1:8 RH twist the barrel is well suited to a wide variety of bullets weights for maximum versatility. The Compass Lake Specification chamber has an optimized lead angle of 1.5 degrees per side for high ballistic coefficient bullets and is matched with a Carpenter 158 steel bolt for exceptional accuracy. A lightweight, thin profile, 15″ Windham Weaponry free-float handguard, with a full length Picatinny rail at the 12 o’clock position, and M-LOK slots provide plenty of room for the addition of a bipod, lights, lasers, and other accessories to configure the rifle to your needs. The hardcoat black anodized upper and lower receivers are forged from 7075-T6 aluminum. The Varmint is fitted with a LUTH MBA-1 adjustable rifle stock. This stock has an adjustable length of pull and adjustable cheek riser which provides a comfortable shooting platform from any position. Multiple sling attachment points are integrated into the stock as well. The Windham Weaponry Varmint 5.56 Rifle is a dedicated varmint rifle for the dedicated varmint hunter.
