The CPX-1 RD is a hammer fired, double-action only, semi-automatic pistol with a 10+1 capacity. SCCY’s CPX-1 features a barrel made from tough bar stock steel and the slide is made from billet stainless steel. The receiver is machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminum. Zytel polymer, with ergonomic finger grooves and integral recoil cushion back-strap make up the frame. In addition to a manual safety, the CPX-1 RD has consistent 9 lb double-action trigger pull and an inertial firing pin which only moves when struck by the hammer. For lighting fast target acquisition and target engagement the CPX-1 RD features a Crimson Trace CTS-1500 with a 3.5 MOA red dot. The 3.5 MOA red dot is easy to see in all lighting conditions with the auto-dimming feature. There is an integrated rear back-up sight in the event the unit should fail. Battery life for the Crimson Trace CTS-1500 is estimated at 20,000 hours for years of worry free use.
