Description
This is a collectible M1871/88 Beaumont-Vitali rifle chambered in 11.3mm. It features a 32-inch barrel, 4-round Vitali magazine conversion, adjustable rear sight, and leather sling. Overall, this Beaumont is good vintage condition with normal age-related wear on the barrel, receiver, and stock. The bore is dark with strong rifling. The receiver and bolt have matching serial numbers. There are no visible import marks on this rifle. The receiver has a manufacture date of 1873 and the butt plate has an 1891 date indicating that this rifle was converted to magazine feed in that year. Two cartouches are visible on the right side of the stock. This would be a good choice for military surplus collectors. Buy online today!
